The organization's articles of incorporation and bylaws establish our goals and outline our governing structure. Each member has a vote, and thus a voice in electing representatives to the Board of Directors, who determine policy by majority vote. The meeting minutes contain a record of the Board's decisions and actions to date. An ongoing curriculum of classes in California native plants anchors our Trade Certification program, which connects landscape designers and contractors, maintenance gardeners, ecologists, restorationists, and others seeking to ground their work in the local flora.
